What skills and experience we're looking for

Do you love bringing calm to busy spaces, helping people stay connected, and being the person others know they can count on?

Are you looking for a role where your organisation, warmth, and attention to detail genuinely make a difference—not just to a team, but to the children and families we support?

At Pathways Learning Centre, every day is centred around helping young people overcome challenges, rebuild confidence, and move forward with hope and purpose. And behind every lesson, every intervention, and every moment of progress is a team that depends on clear communication, smooth systems, and strong relationships.

That’s where you come in.

As our new Business Support Officer, you’ll be at the heart of the Centre’s operations—keeping things running smoothly, helping colleagues stay connected, and ensuring the small but vital details are always in safe hands. Your work might be behind the scenes, but its impact will be felt in every classroom, every meeting, and every success story.

This is more than administrative support. This is a chance to use your skills to create stability, clarity, and kindness in a place where it truly matters.

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinating and managing diaries and schedules
• Organising meetings and supporting key events
• Maintaining and updating databases and essential documents
• Ensuring accurate records are kept and deadlines are met
• Managing communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Providing efficient, reliable administrative support across the Centre

Who we're looking for:

• Someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and precision to everything they do
• A skilled administrator with excellent attention to detail
• An effective communicator who builds positive relationships
• Confident using IT systems and a variety of software packages
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• A team player who supports others and brings a positive attitude

• Excellent training, development and career progression opportunities
• Flexible and hybrid working options
• A friendly, supportive team who value and appreciate your work
