We are now recruiting for a Clinical Support Lead (CSL) to support across Compliance within our WCA Recruitment team based in Belfast.

The Compliance CSL will deliver the core business requirements as a Disability Analyst, with additional responsibilities supporting the Head of Account Quality in customer relation and quality management. This is an integral role in driving performance, ensuring clinical governance and developing clinical staff for the DfC contract.

This is a remote, home based role.

What you'll be doing :

• Supporting the Head of Quality and working alongside the CRT/Support Departmental managers
• Helping maintain complaint management and ensuring that all complaint responses are 100% fit for purpose.
• Supporting the Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Clinical Complaints Advisors (CCAs), Customer Relations Team (CRT) and CRT Managers to ensure that all complaints are being managed to the best of our ability.
• Undertake Clinical Guidance review ensuring that all our process guides are up to date. Help to support the Head of Quality in ensuring that all clinical staff within the business are adhering to the correct policies and procedures, therefore maintaining Clinical Governance
• Support the Head of Quality/NMC revalidation lead to monitor revalidation for nurses, doctors, physiotherapist and occupational therapists. Liaise with the Responsible Officer
• Respond to any requests that come through from the Department in relation to Mandatory Reconsideration Requests and Appeals Requests
• Support the Head of Quality to respond to Departmental and External Body requests; these may come in the form of: FOIs, SARs, Change, Governing Body Requests etc
• Support the Clinical Author in producing, reviewing and updating clinical training
• Support the Head of Quality and work alongside the other CSLs to maintain good clinical quality across the business

What we're looking for :

Essential

• HCP (Doctor, Nurse, OT or Physiotherapist) with a minimum of three years post registration experience
• WCA Approved Assessor/Auditor in order to provide support to HCP's
• Competent in using Microsoft suites: excel, word, power point, outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Desirable

• Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with both medical colleagues and administrative support staff
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills and be able to negotiate successfully and respond to rapidly changing work environment
• To have sufficient understanding of the Medical MIS to interrogate the MIS and identify exceptions Past and Current High Quality Clinical Performance within the business

You will be required to undergo and successfully gain a BPSS security clearance check in order to undertake this position

The purpose of the assessment is to understand how an illness or disability affects a person's daily life. After the assessment, the DWP/DfC makes the decision as to whether the individual will receive any benefits. The Health Assessment Advisory Service is delivered on behalf of the DWP & DfC by Capita.
