About the role
Are you an outstanding teacher with a passion for developing others? We’re looking for an Advanced Practitioner to help drive excellence across our Apprenticeships and Work-Based Learning provision.
You’ll support staff through coaching, mentoring and modelling great practice, ensuring our apprentices receive exceptional teaching, learning and assessment. Our department spans four sectors – Business & Enterprise, Healthcare & Science, Engineering and Construction – so experience or knowledge in at least one of these is a real advantage.
What you’ll do:- Deliver high-quality teaching and set the standard for others
- Coach, mentor and support teaching staff and assessors
- Lead professional development, contribute to quality improvement and share best practice
- Support new staff through induction and development
- Drive improvements in attendance, achievement and apprentice progress
- Promote our FREDIE+ values and champion safeguarding
What you’ll bring:- A track record of good or outstanding teaching and strong learner outcomes
- Experience supporting or developing other staff
- Passion for outstanding TLA and learner success
- Up-to-date knowledge of pedagogy, inclusivity and digital tools
- Level 5 teaching qualification (or above) and relevant degree
