I am recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded 11-18 secondary school in Ealing for a permanent Chemistry Teacher. The school can accommodate start dates in January 2026, April 2026 or September 2026, and is very happy to consider strong ECTs as well as experienced Science teachers with a specialism in Chemistry.
You will join a well-resourced Science department with dedicated laboratories, strong technician support and a clear, ambitious curriculum. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Chemistry at KS4, and you will have the opportunity to teach A Level Chemistry for suitable candidates. Practical work is a key feature of the department's offer, and you will be encouraged to design engaging practical and theoretical lessons that develop pupils' understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.
From my discussions with the school, they are seeking someone who can demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective behaviour management and a commitment to raising achievement in Science. ECTs will receive a thorough induction, regular coaching and CPD tailored to their needs. More experienced staff may be able to take on additional responsibilities within Chemistry or the wider Science team, and TLRs may be on offer for the right person who can support curriculum leadership or enrichment.
