The WTWA (Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham) Division of Surgery and Theatres is excited to offer a unique opportunity to recruit a dynamic experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work as part of our friendly and talented Breast Care Team based on our North Manchester Site, with cross site working required.

The successful candidate will be provided with a robust induction and personal development plan to meet their professional development needs.

The successful candidate will strive to deliver high quality care to all patients. This role will be pivotal in providing clinical expertise in the delivery of the future models of care for greater Manchester. The Nightingale Centre is a renowned centre of excellence for breast care with strong working relationships with both Macmillan and Prevent.

ACP's will be given an educational and clinical Consultant supervisor who will provide guidance and feedback whilst developing your portfolio, working towards the 4 pillars of advanced practice , enhancing your clinical skills providing safe patient care. All ACP's at MFT are supported to participate and lead on research, service development and audit. Strong links exist with the local Higher Education Institutes this provides opportunities for our ACPs to develop their teaching and education skills as part of their role. You will have professional development time and weekly teaching which is provided by the Consultant team within WTWA. The successful candidate will be educated to Masters Level, including independent non-medical prescribing. Our aim is to improve the sustainability, quality and efficiency of services, enhance integrated services with the community and improve care pathways, delivering a truly person centered service.
