Job objectives and responsibilities
· To fulfill electrical test and inspection requirements inline with the current regulations and Sellafield processes
in estate buildings.
· To ensure that the fixed wiring in estate buildings is in a safe standard and compliance with current regulations
Main duties
Responsible for;
· To operate under full compliance with Sellafield SLSP's in the service delivery
· Achieve and maintain Electrical Nominated Persons Status for both Sellafield
· To work to client and Mitie safe system requirements
· To ensure work is delivered in line with contract key performance indicators and service level agreements.
· To adopt a proactive approach to delivery of reactive repairs task ensuring that task are completed at the
earliest opportunity and avoiding aged tasks.
· Complete engineering worksheets in a timely and legible manner with an accurate and relevant level of detail.
· To provide a high standard or workmanship and customer service at all times within expected time, cost and
quality
· To liase with customer an collegues in a pro-active and positive approach to plan and deliver works ensuring
issues and concerns are escalated and dealt.
· Maintain allocated work equipment, vehicles and records in accordance with company policy · To provide a clear scope for additional reactive and project works including preparation of quotations/estimates when required · To undertake works in the most efficient and cost effective manner to deliver best value to our customer. · Identify opportunities for additional works outside of the contract scope and provide feedback to team leader or line management to explore further. · Complete time sheets in a prompt and submit for review
Person Specification
Experience
· A good Knowledge and experience in electrical installation and remedials works.
· A good knowledge and experience in electrical test and inspection.
· A good Knowledge of current regulations
Qualifications
· Full clean driving license
· NVQ Level 3 in Electrical
· 2391 or 2392 City & Guilds qualification
Additional Skills
· IT experience - Microsoft , Excel

· Must be a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, focussed on service delivery, operational
support & customer service.
· Able to develop and nurture long term lasting relationships with the client, staff, sub-contractors and
suppliers acting with professionalism and integrity at all times.
· Must have a positive approach and good work ethic
Work Environment
· This is a mobile position across a large nuclear site, demanding a vary of physical activities to delivery the
required service to the client. The candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours (including
overtime) & will also be required to work rostered weekends.
