We are seeking a proactive Youth Hub Work Coach to support young people aged 16–24 into employment, education, or training.You will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and create tailored action plans to help participants overcome barriers and achieve sustainable outcomes.The role involves close collaboration with Jobcentre Plus, employers, and partner agencies, as well as representing the service at events such as job fairs and careers conventions.

The Role

Reporting to the Careers and Progression Team Leader, as a Youth Hub Work Coach, you will be responsible for supporting a caseload of young people (aged 16-24) to access employment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group coaching sessions
  • Support transitions from benefits into work and maintain in-work support
  • Build strong relationships with employers and stakeholders
  • Promote the service and create employment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and meet agreed KPIs

The ideal candidate

You will need to have /be

  • Relevant qualifications (IAG Level 4/6, coaching, mentoring, teaching) or willingness to work towards them
  • Experience in employment, recruitment, or training roles
  • Strong employer engagement skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills to inspire young people
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, labour market trends, and equality and diversity practices
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and work flexibly across different settings
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and online platforms
