A growing independent small animal referral practice in Belfast is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their expanding team.

This modern, progressive practice offers a diverse caseload encompassing both soft tissue and orthopaedic referrals, providing the opportunity to develop and refine your clinical nursing skills in a supportive environment. The practice is currently progressing through the RCVS Veterinary Hospital Accreditation process, with the aim of becoming Northern Ireland’s only independent Veterinary Hospital.

The successful candidate will share the team’s commitment to providing exceptional patient care at fair and accessible prices, ensuring every pet receives the highest standard of treatment and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality inpatient and surgical nursing care
• Supporting veterinary surgeons during diagnostic and surgical procedures
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe clinical environment
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets

Candidate Requirements

RCVS registration (required)
• Previous experience in a small animal veterinary environment (referral experience desirable)
• A positive, proactive approach to patient care and teamwork
• Willingness to participate in a shared rota covering nights, weekends and bank holidays
