What exactly will you be doing?
As an Assessment Production Officer, you will play a key role as a subject matter expert, using your strong knowledge of assessment operational delivery requirements to maintain and deliver high quality assessments. You will ensure all assessments meet agreed standards, quality, processes, and targets, while also complying with internal expectations and external regulatory requirements. Working at the heart of our assessment production function, you will help uphold excellence, accuracy and consistency across our assessments.
Major objectives
The major objectives for the role are:
Deliver high quality assessments in line with agreed standards and targets, ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert, applying strong knowledge of assessment operational delivery requirements to maintain established assessment processes and achieve both internal and external quality expectations, including those set by regulatory bodies.
Support continuous improvement by contributing to the enhancement of assessment production processes and practices.
Plan and manage assessment activities, ensuring all necessary resources and timelines are effectively coordinated.
Work collaboratively with the Assessment Production Manager and Qualification Developers to ensure smooth handover and transition of new assessments into business as usual (BAU).
What are we looking for?
Knowledge/experience of assessment and/or education or training.
Understanding and application of assessment principles across various platforms.
Awareness of current trends in education, training and assessment is desirable.
Experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven ability to produce accurate documents with excellent proofreading skills.
Confident problem solver who works independently and meets deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and customer interaction skills.
Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
Effective team player with strong interpersonal and relation-building skills.
