What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Cover Supervisor at Fazakerley Primary School, you will play a key role in supporting learning and maintaining high standards during teacher absence.You will:- Supervise whole classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities.- Support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing, encouraging engagement and participation.- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.- Ensure resources and learning environments are well organised and stimulating.- Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to deliver an exciting and supportive learning experience.- Collect completed work and provide feedback to the class teacher.- Assist with communication between home and school, promoting strong partnerships with parents and carers.- Uphold the school’s values, contributing to our warm, welcoming and inclusive community.In return, we offer:- Wonderful children with excellent behaviour and a love of learning.- A dedicated and creative staff team who support each other.- A bespoke curriculum designed to inspire curiosity and creativity.- Excellent opportunities for professional development.- A supportive and forward-thinking leadership team and governing body.

Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Completion of a common core programme of induction for working with children.
- Experience working within a school setting, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor.
- A strong understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and inclusive practice.
