Teacher of Mathematics
1.0FTE – MPS/UPS - Permanent
Start date: September 2026
Frome College have an excellent opportunity for an energetic and creative Teacher of Mathematics to join and be supported by our successful Maths Faculty. The experienced, talented, and innovative math team at Frome College have created year-on-year improvements in academic outcomes, both at KS4 and KS5. Students cite Maths teachers as giving them excellent support throughout the academic year and particularly through their external exams. Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply – we offer a very supportive ECT Induction scheme. The ability to teach Post-16 would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will:
• be an outstanding teacher or Early Careers Teacher (ECT).
• ability to teach Post-16 would be an advantage
• have a passion for their subject and helping students succeed.
• teach inspirational lessons consistently.
• be innovative, creative, enthusiastic – able to deliver results.
• be proactive and promote positivity.
• work effectively as part of a team, with strong organisational and communication skills.
• have a great sense of humour and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
