The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for ICT support queries, providing timely and effective assistance in diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues. These include troubleshooting software, hardware, network and server faults, desktop systems, and printer-related issues.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills in a dynamic environment. Depending on experience, you may also have the opportunity to contribute to ICT projects and undertake additional training to further develop within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line support to staff and students, ensuring issues are logged, prioritised, and resolved promptly.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems across desktop, network, and printer systems.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ICT hardware and software.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
• Assist with ICT projects and system upgrades as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and confident verbal communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, easily understood by pupils.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a busy support environment.
Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team is key.
