Third Hand Care is a local, family-run home care provider based in Farnham. We support adults living in Farnham, Aldershot, Alton, Farnborough, Frimley, Camberley, Fleet and nearby villages to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.
We are looking for caring, reliable Community Home Care Assistants who live in these areas and want to make a real difference every day.
The Role
As a Community Home Care Assistant, you will drive between clients’ homes across Farnham and surrounding towns, supporting adults with everyday tasks so they can stay independent.
Your visits may include:
Preparing meals and drinks
Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Prompting and assisting with medication
Light housework and laundry
Companionship, conversation and emotional support
Helping people move safely at home or get out when needed
Our care is person-centred, based on what matters most to each person and their family.

Comfortable working one-to-one with older and vulnerable adults
Hard-working, flexible and willing to learn
Passionate about supporting people in the Farnham, Aldershot, Alton, Farnborough, Frimley, Camberley and Fleet communities
Availability
Able to work between 7am–2pm and/or 3pm–9pm, and
Able to work at least 1 weekend in every 2 weeks.
Essential
Full UK driving licence (car or motorcycle) and access to a vehicle for work
Already living in the UK with the right to work without sponsorship
Desirable Experience (Not Essential)
Supporting a family member, neighbour or friend
Volunteering with older or disabled people
Previous experience in care, health or customer-facing roles
We provide full training from day one and ongoing support throughout your career with us.
