A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supervisor to join our team at a landmark development in Fitzrovia. Representing CIS Security as a trusted ambassador, you will support the management team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the security service across this flagship site.This major project provides over 139,000 sq. ft. of cutting-edge office space in the city’s growing Knowledge Quarter, alongside high-quality facilities designed to create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment. As part of the security team, your core objective will be to safeguard the site, protect property, and uphold the safety and wellbeing of all visitors, members, and tenants in line with established procedures.Information:Position: Senior SupervisorLocation: London (W1)Pay: £16.00 per hourHours: 60 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday - DaysJob Requirements:SIA Door Supervisor Licence requiredProven background in being a leader in the security operational start-up of a new building, including the implementation of procedures, systems, and team structures. PreferredLead the security team on a new greenfield site, ensuring all operational requirements are established and delivered effectivelyWork with the Account Management team in assisting with AIs, Designing SOPs and lead training of the team on various systems and procedures on siteWork closely with the Client, to ensure an open, proactive and productive working environment with Security Services and other Service PartnersBe genuinely invested into the successful functioning of the building, with a ‘One Team’ approach across all Service PartnersBe proactive with always looking for areas of improvementIT and People Management skills requiredWillingness to learn and work with a teamExcellent communication both written & verbal and communication skillsReliable, Responsible and PunctualTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelBe calm under pressure - Have the presence of mind be able to defuse difficult situationsJob Responsibilities:To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site as required by the customer.To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, and visitors to the site.To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to the security manager.Assist the Account Management Team in all areas of his responsibility and maintain a close working relationship.Establish a thorough understanding of the site specification and monitor the frequencies of all activities ensuring they are current and in line with customers’ expectations.Maintain confidentiality and establish and maintain a good reputation with the customer.Respond to customer communication in a professional and timely manner.Supervise the team ensuring all officers are following site procedures in line with the customers’ requirements.To ensure the Handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.Able to make informed decisions under pressure.Be able to liaise with external authorities and services as required and build and maintain relationships with stake holders.To ensure that the daily occurrence book is maintained correctly and that all relevant reports are completedResponsible for all staff under their direct supervision and ensuring that all staff wear correct uniform, appropriate personal protective equipment and are regularly briefed.Respond accordingly to emergencies and incidents including fire and intruder alarms and assisting in the evacuation of the buildings where necessaryMaintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team taking into consideration their welfare.Identify any training needs for your staff and feedback to your line management.Take a proactive approach to increasing the services offered to customer.Complete appropriate training documentation and records.Ensure any changes to site operations are referenced and included within the assignment instructions for the site against which all security officers should be assessed to ensure their understanding and compliance. All instructions must be signed as having been read and understood.
