Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, you will be working closely with the Retail Buyers to help with the smooth running of the Retail team.Key duties will include:Maintaining EPOS database and product information for each line.Setting up new products and creating purchase orders in EPOS system.Identifying retail price changes, actioning stock transfers, investigating non scans, processing damagesSupporting shops and warehouse, resolving any product queries.Adhere to and maintain effective management of stock administration and rigorously investigate and escalate all discrepancies.Ensure all reports are reviewed on a weekly or monthly basis (as prescribed) investigating any anomalies and escalating concerns to the buyer (e.g. Nil-sales reports).Responsible for running tolerance checks on item cost and selling price data to ensure financial accuracy of the merchandise management system.Liaising with suppliers and guests regarding product requests and orders..Forecasting demand and optimising stock levels.About youEducated NVQ level 3 or equivalent including Maths and English GSCE C.Sound experience in a busy office environment, preferably in the retail sector with emphasis on customer care.Understanding of EPOS and basic merchandising principles.Knowledge of operation of standard office equipmentExcellent IT skills Excellent communication skills and working relationshipsGood organisation skills.A little about usAt Longleat we offer a day out like no other, our guests are invited to step into the Thynn family home where they will find the finest example of Elizabethan Architecture.
