Crynodeb
The post holder will provide administrative support and day-to-day assistance in the use of Pathology IT applications across the service, including participation in out-of-hours cover and travel to other BSPS hospital sites as required. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives, maintaining effective and professional working relationships at all times. The role includes attending mandatory training and contributing to the training of pathology system users. The post holder is expected to pursue ongoing learning and development to maintain a high level of technical and professional competence. A key responsibility is the consistent application of patient confidentiality and adherence to all relevant legal and organisational requirements, including the Data Protection Act, Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, and departmental policies. The post holder may also be required to undertake additional duties consistent with the role as directed by the Operational Manager for Pathology Support Services.
