Job Summary
We’re URGENTLY looking for a reliable, flexible Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly small team. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making spaces sparkle, we’d love to hear from you!
You’ll help us keep homes and workplaces fresh, clean, and welcoming for our customers.
IMPORTANT
Live in LEWES or within 10 min' distance
Shifts:
- DOM4: Domestic Cleaning Lewes BN7 - Weekly - Wednesday but Flexible - 9:00 to 12:00 - 3hrs
- DOM5: Domestic Cleaning Lewes - Weekly or Bi-weekly - Wednesday or Thursday -Starting time no later than 13:00 - 4hrs
You will find your agreed-upon shifts in the app we are using. The app also contains all client information, addresses, access details, priorities, and operational notes needed to manage the cleaning service efficiently and accurately, including new job opportunities, sick and holiday cleanings coverage.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including Kitchen, bathrooms, living room, rest room, bedrooms etc.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Use the client’s cleaning products and equipment or ours.
- Ironing experience is appreciated but not mandatory.
Requirements
- Due to the urgency, priority will be given to those with experience in the field, but it is not mandatory as long as you have attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- One or more professional references required – cleaning field preferred, but other sectors also accepted. (no friends or family references).
- Live in LEWES or within 10 min distance
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cleaning techniques or procedures.
- Looking for a long-term working relationship.
- Speak fluent English to communicate efficiently with customers.
Pay and Benefits
- £12.40/hour to £12:70/hour depending on your experience.
