Summary
The Best Connection Dudley are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for a client in the Dudley area. The role offers regular shifts Monday to Friday with a chance of becoming permanent after a 12 week trial period. There is opportunity for overtime when available which is paid at an increased rate. - between £16:00 - £17.25 all standard hours
- 39 hours a week
- Attending sites for servicing, fault finding, and repairs on generators and accompanying equipment.
- When not on the road, the employee will work out on site to service, inspect, and repair equipment ready for dispatch.
- To accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues.
- Identify required specialist equipment and connectors.
- Utilisation of the proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance
- Ensure all equipment is set up as required by Contract Customer's Specifications
- Modify generator fleet where required following instruction from the Technical Manager.
- Repair and maintain machinery as per company and manufacturer requirements.
- Attend equipment breakdowns as necessary to support the delivery of excellence customer service levels.
This may require the post holder to work overtime, sometimes with short notice. - Any other technical-related service as required by the business.
- Be part of the on-call Rota system.
- Support the development of high-performance teams by attending planned training, positively engaging
with the training provider. - Adherence to the companies Management Systems including Health and Safety,
Environmental and Quality and all associated policies, standards, procedures and records.
