Neway International are seeking a Loader to join our client based with Monmouthshire County Council.
Location: Llanfoist Depot, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, NP7 9LH
Hours: 7.5 hours per day
Start Date: 27 November 2025
Pay Rates: PAYE £12.85 per hour / Limited/Umbrella £16.32 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary Reason for Hire: Long term sickness cover

Role
As a Loader, you will be part of the Recycling & Waste team, ensuring household and business waste collections are carried out safely, efficiently, and professionally. This role is vital in maintaining Monmouthshire’s commitment to a high‑performing recycling service.
Key Responsibilities
Collect household and business waste including food, garden, residual, hygiene, dry recycling, and trade waste
Ensure all collections are completed on schedule and areas are left clean and safe
Return receptacles tidily to their original location without causing obstruction
Provide polite and professional service to the public during collections
Monitor contamination in recycling and follow procedures
Work constructively as part of a team and comply with health & safety practices
Complete paperwork accurately and on time
Undertake training as required to perform duties safely and effectively
Candidate Requirements
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high‑quality service
Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
Professional, polite, and courteous when dealing with the public
Willingness to follow health & safety procedures and undertake training
Flexibility to work at other depots if required
