Principal Accountabilities

- Co-ordinate the resourcing, deployment of staff, monitoring and post event reporting of client events security providers

- Develop strong relationships with all employees, security staff, business leads, venue managers and event organisers.

- Supervise the deployment, briefing and monitoring of client events security staff at external pre-release screenings and events in accordance with instructions from the UK Security Manager

- Ensure that event anti-piracy measures, equipment and SOPs are current and always adhered to.

- Work closely with the Security Compliance Administrator to ensure the Security Events Tracker is up to date, accurate and all staffing requirements are met.

- Work closely with event organisers and the Security Manager, UK and Ireland to ensure that effective security, anti-piracy measures and staff are in place and all staff briefed accordingly.

- Be responsible for checking in with the client Representative, ensuring anti-piracy signage is appropriately placed and all event security officers are prepared and equipped to conduct Anti-Piracy procedures.

- Carry out any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management.

Qualifications and Experience

- Excellent customer service, inter-personal and communication skills

- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure

- Have an ability to deliver clear and concise verbal and written reports when necessary

- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation

- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability

- Able to demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public, event organisers and all stakeholders

- An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity.

- SIA Door Supervisor Licence

- First Aid at Work or equivalent

- Close Protection License (desirable)

- Experience managing an Event Security Team (desirable)

This role is events orientated, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required. A degree of flexibility and the ability to work with minimum supervision is required.
