Customer Projects Executive
Full time, 40 hours per week | Up to £30,000 per annum
Are you an organised, commercially minded professional who enjoys delivering projects, working collaboratively across teams, and bringing ideas to life for customers? This Customer Projects Executive role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, friendly, and ambitious business operating nationally within the foodservice and FMCG space. This role sits at the heart of customer engagement, commercial activity, and project delivery. You will play a key part in supporting product sourcing, menu changes, range reviews, tenders, launches and customer specific initiatives that contribute directly to sales and margin growth.
What you will be doing
Working closely with the Buying, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Innovation and supplier partners, your responsibilities will include:
• Project Delivery -Leading and supporting customer facing commercial projects including range reviews, menu changes, category management initiatives and product sourcing.
• Customer & Sales Engagement - Preparing professional briefing documents Ensuring all project requirements are implemented in line with business objectives.
• Project Tracking & Administration - Managing and updating the Commercial Project Tracker to ensure all activity is recorded, monitored and progressed.
• Process Improvement & Reporting - Identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Ensure Project delivery align with commercial and quality expectations.
• Key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Coordinating meetings, reporting updates and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Track accurate data for performance reporting, to include conversion rates/margin
• Providing cover for the Customer Projects Manager during absence.
What you will bring
• Strong administration and IT skills, including proficiency with Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in project support, customer service, coordination or as an Executive Assistant.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented approach, strong problem-solving skills, confidence working autonomously.
• Experience in foodservice, FMCG or a similar operational environment. (Desirable)
• Understanding of project management principles and experience supporting large scale projects or events. (Desirable)
