Social Care and leadership qualifications in line with requirements of the childrenandrsquo;s homes quality standards and regulations.andnbsp; This post also involves shift work, sleep overs and weekend working. We are looking for exceptional, enthusiastic and creative child focused person to work within our Childrenandrsquo;s Homes to work with young people with complex and additional needs.
The ideal candidate must also be able to effectively extend these skills to the young peopleandrsquo;s families/carers and professionals.
This post is based in one of our Residential Homes who care for children who are looked after by the local authority.andnbsp;

The overall aim of the Registered Manager is to manage, develop, deliver and be responsible for services to young people in one of the Serviceandrsquo;s Childrenandrsquo;s Homes, and to act as a Corporate Parent for Children Looked After.andnbsp; To ensure young people are nurtured, happy, healthy and safe from harm, able to develop, thrive and fulfil their full potential. The Registered Managers will ensure the smooth running of the Childrenandrsquo;s Home in line with the Guide to the Childrenandrsquo;s Homes Regulations including the Quality Standards

In line with the Childrenandrsquo;s Homes Regulations, regulation 28 the Registered Manager will need to ensure they have the appropriate experience, qualifications and skills in order to pass a fit person interview with Ofsted.andnbsp; Applicants should have 5 yearsandrsquo; experience of working with children and young people in residential care of which some must be within the last 2 years and management and supervisory experience of at least one year in residential care or related settings within the last 2 years.andnbsp;

The successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
