We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team on a permanent basis, working across all North Tees & Hartlepool NHS hospital sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, inclusive team and play a vital role in helping us provide a safe, high quality and welfare-focused security service within our hospitals.
Full training will be provided, so while Security experience is an advantage, it is not essential. However, applicants must already hold, or be willing to work towards, an SIA Door Supervisor Licence. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, people-focused and ready to take the next step in their career.
Benefits of working for NTH Solutions include:
A competitive annual leave allowance (starting at 28 days per year, pro rata) plus bank holidays.
Enhanced pay for night shifts
Training and development opportunities to support your personal and professional growth
A supportive and inclusive workplace
Access to health and well-being initiatives
As a Security Officer, you will work under the guidance of the Head of Security, while also taking responsibility and using your own initiative during shifts. Your work will make a real difference in keeping staff, patients and visitors safe.
We will provide full role-specific training, but we are seeking someone who has:
Experience working with the general public
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
The ability to remain calm, professional and decisive in fast-paced or challenging situations
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

We will support staff through providing an inclusive and supportive workplace with health and well-being initiatives, staff benefits and opportunities for personal and professional development.
At NTH Solutions we work as a team, we support each other, learn from one another and have our patients at the heart of everything we do.
