About the role

We are seeking for a Personal Assistant to support a 7-year-old child, who is non-verbal with Severe Autism
Spectrum Disorder and Global Development Delay Diagnosis to help him with leisure activities. The role
involves assistance in the community.


Key Responsibilities

- Support to learn more independent living skills
- personal hygiene Assistance
- Assist with personal care (getting dressed)
- Support during social and leisure activities
- Assistance in mealtimes
- permanent constant supervision, because he is not aware of dangers
- using Sign Cards and or Makaton as Communication if possible
- car owner prefered

Additional Information

- A probation period will apply
- permanent job contract
- A enhanced DBS check will be required (provided free of charge)
