As a Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, tailoring your approach to their individual requirements and learning styles.
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs and abilities.
- Assisting in the preparation of educational materials and resources to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating regularly with teachers and parents.
- Encouraging student participation in classroom activities, promoting social interaction, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Attending and contributing to meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs.

To be considered for this rewarding role, our client is looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field (e.g. , Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach when working with students who have diverse needs and abilities.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and a willingness to adapt to new tools and resources.
- A genuine passion for supporting and empowering students to reach their full potential.
