CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for a skilled Building Surveyor to join a well-established construction company. This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a professional who wants to work directly within the construction sector, supporting project delivery, quality control, and building compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct building inspections, condition surveys, and defect analysis across ongoing construction and refurbishment projects.
- Produce technical reports, specifications, and work schedules to support project planning and delivery.
- Monitor construction works on site to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with building regulations.
- Advise project teams on building design, materials, and construction methods.
- Manage contractor performance, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Provide advice on statutory compliance, health & safety, and building regulations.
- Support maintenance planning and long-term asset management strategies.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Experience working as a Building Surveyor in the construction industry.
- MRICS qualified or working toward chartership is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building pathology, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent project management, organisation, and communication skills.
- Confident producing high-quality technical reports and client-facing documentation.
- Full UK driving licence for site visits.
