Flexible Bank Support Worker

Earn £12.60 per hour, plus we pay £50 per sleep in shift and offer great benefits

What you’ll do

  • Assist customers with their daily living tasks to develop their independence, achieve their goals aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans

  • Support vulnerable customers in a variety of services

  • Support Customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments

  • Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews

  • Help customers build independence and prepare for their move-on into the community

You bring

The practical bits

  • This role is to cover shifts within our 24hr supported housing services. We will need you to have availability to cover shifts week-days and weekends at short notice - this will include working days, evenings and completing sleep-in shift cover - therefore we need candidates that have flexibility to be able to cover a variety of different shifts.

  • Our services are 24hrs - staff work between 07:00-23:00 and we complete a sleep in shift cover between the hours of 23:00-07:00, we have a variety of shifts during these times to cover the needs of the customers - you may be needed to work within the day, or of an evening, or you may be needed to cover the sleep in cover at one of the services.

  • We have great teams within the service! You will be working with other colleagues for most of your shifts. The team will be there to support you to learn the role and get to know the service!

  • You need an Enhanced with barring list (which we pay for) 

  • For community support you will need a full UK driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
