Are you looking for a role where you can progress within the company?
We are seeking a Recycling Centre Operative to join our team in Newark! This is a customer-facing role, helping the public correctly dispose of their waste while ensuring the site remains clean and organised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in finding the correct containers for their waste
- Answering queries and providing guidance on recycling
- Sorting through waste from black bin bags and placing it in the appropriate containers
- Completing paperwork and using tablets for data entry
- General site cleaning and maintenance

- Assistant Site Foreman
What We’re Looking For:
- Recycling experience is not necessary but would be very beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for data entry
This role has contracts for permanent jobs.
Split shifts on a weekly rotation:
- Week 1: 08:00 – 16:30
- Week 2: 11:00 – 19:30
The hourly wage for this role is £12.21, with 28 days of paid holiday!
Saturdays are paid at Time and a Half!
Sundays are paid at Double Time!
