Daycare is looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join their team. The nursery provides a warm, supportive environment focused on high-quality early years education and care. The successful candidate will lead a room team to deliver excellent standards in line with EYFS and safeguarding guidelines.
Salary:
£28,000 per annum
Responsibilities include:
Leading a room team and ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment
Planning and delivering age-appropriate, engaging activities
Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s development
Ensuring compliance with EYFS and safeguarding policies
Supporting staff development and maintaining strong communication within the team
Building positive relationships with parents and carers
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
Requirements:
Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification (required)
Enhanced DBS (required)
Experience working in a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or room-leader role
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
Good communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Ability to work full-time and lead by example within the nursery
