We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to lead the English Faculty, from April 2026.This post is suited to a candidate with experience in driving standards and results across a Faculty. The post offers excellent opportunities for you to develop your leadership skills. We are a school focussed on growing leaders and this is an ideal post for further progression to Senior Leadership.
Oakwood is looking to appoint a motivated and committed Head of English with a passion for teaching and leading English throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.
We are looking for a colleague who is:
• Highly successful classroom practitioner
• Enthusiastic and hardworking team player
• Able to achieve high levels of student engagement, challenge and progress
• Inspirational with the ability to motivate students
• Has a proven record of driving standards and results
