Wake Night Shifts: 12 hours, Monday to Sunday, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Day Shifts: 12 hours, Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Shift patterns are flexible depending on your availability.
Drivers with a Full UK licence and Non-Smokers Required

About the Role:
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for dedicated Female Care Assistants to provide one-to-one support for our male service user in the Poole area. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new, long-term team for a gentleman with a Spinal Injury.
We will provide full, comprehensive training for all clinical and personal care needs, which include:

Activities of Daily Living (ADL) support
-
Catheter care
-
Bowel care
-
Personal care
-
Mobilising and manual handling
-
Supporting to access the community
A key and exciting aspect of this role involves supporting our service user on holidays and trips away. He is an adventurous individual who loves to travel, and we are building a new team of carers who can facilitate this. We are therefore looking for carers with a valid passport and a passion for adventure, who can provide consistent support both at home and abroad. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, proactive, and enthusiastic about enabling our service user to explore the world.
Requirements for the Role:

A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.

Complex Care or Spinal Injury experience is preferred, but not mandatory as full training is provided.

To be a driver with a Full UK Driving Licence.

To be a non-smoker.

To hold a valid passport and be willing to travel for holidays.

To provide the correct compliance documents, including updated Right to Work and an original DBS certificate (we can apply for this).
