Post Room Administrator
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday Salary: £12.64 per hour Contract Type: Temporary
Role Purpose
The Post Room Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of incoming mail and payments. You will be responsible for opening, sorting, and distributing post, with a particular focus on handling donations received via cheque and credit card.
Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, open, and sort incoming mail daily.
  • Identify and separate payments (cheques, credit card details) for processing.
  • Ensure accurate logging and secure handling of all financial documents.
  • Distribute mail to relevant departments promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks within the post room as required.


Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information responsibly.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Previous administrative experience
