Summary

Key Responsibilities: You will have lead responsibility for continually improving the quality and performance of the service. The list below is not exhaustive but reflects the main duties of the post: To lead the service, in collaboration with the Deputy Team Manager, Assistant Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Lead Clinicians to promote a culture based on principles of recovery, choice and personalised care. To provide leadership for a large multi-disciplinary team, including psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, nursery nurses, STR workers and social workers. To directly manage the Deputy Team Managers To ensure the service operates in line with agreed pathways, national and Trust policies and guidelines, and is focussed on the delivery of key performance and clinical outcomes To co-ordinate the management of the teams, ensuring effective training, ongoing professional development and professional supervision is maintained for all staff and to ensure that the physical and mental health, safety and wellbeing of staff in the service is maximised, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their work and home lives Leading and making contributions to quality improvement projects in a clinical setting Working collaboratively across systems with key stakeholders Management of staff including recruiting, supervising and performance managing staff within own and/or other disciplines Management of resources, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans To work closely with our well-established People Participation Group (Expert by Experience) and have a strong ethos of co-production To participate in the Trust on Call Manager Rota
