Management AccountantLocation: Birchwood
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum + bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Office-based

We are working with a fantastic business who are looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in shaping finance processes as the business grows, working closely with the Finance Director and getting involved in a wide range of responsibilities.

What you'll be doing:


Preparation of management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation and payment of weekly and monthly salaries, including HMRC compliance
Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
Arranging payments and posting journals
Accruals and prepayments
Overseeing transactional processing roles
WIP reviews and reconciliations
Ad hoc duties as required


What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role
QBE or part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
Strong Excel skills
A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in process improvements
