Manufacturing Production Operative

An excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting blending, bottling and general production tasks while ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality output.

SALARY: £24,762 per annum + Bonus

LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 8:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 to 15:45 on Friday


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Manufacturing Production Operative within a hands-on manufacturing setting.

As a Manufacturing Production Operative you will support the blending and bottling of products, maintain production equipment and help ensure smooth workflow across the department.

The Manufacturing Production Operative will also assist with stock counts, paperwork, safe operation of tools, and collaboration with other teams to meet production targets and deadlines.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Manufacturing Production Operative include:

• Blending And Bottling: Support daily blending tasks and operate bottling equipment

• Maintain Work Areas: Keep production areas organised and tidy

• Equipment Care: Carry out basic maintenance and ensure equipment is clean and functional

• Follow Procedures: Adhere to operating procedures and complete required paperwork

• Water Production: Produce and store RO water for blending processes

• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues on stock counts and production lines

• Safe Tool Use: Operate power tools safely and carry out bespoke manufacturing tasks

• Flexible Support: Assist the pick/pack team and goods in when required

• Vehicle Operation: Operate PPTs and forklifts where trained


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Good practical skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task

• Organised approach to work

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work well within a team

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Flexible and adaptable approach

DESIRABLE

• Experience with PPTs and forklifts

• A background in production, manufacturing or assembly work
