Higher Level Teaching Assistant – A Level Subjects
Role Information:

Location: Filton Campus
FTE Salary: Up to £29,868.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: Up to £25,919.62
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

This vital role ensures continuity of learning and helps students reach their full potential.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
-Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of A Level subjects.
-Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and respect.
-Support learners academically and pastorally during cover periods.
-Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with college policies.
-Complete attendance records and any required administrative tasks.
-Liaise with subject lecturers and curriculum teams to ensure smooth learning continuity.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
-Strong communication and organisational skills.
-Ability to adapt quickly to different subject areas and classroom settings.
-Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
-Previous experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
with digital learning platforms and blended delivery (desirable)
