Enviro-Tec SW Ltd is a trusted, family-run provider of specialist drainage and water services across the Southwest. With a strong reputation for reliability, quality workmanship, and customer-focused solutions, we are continuing to expand our water services division. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Fresh Water Supply Engineer to join our growing team.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of projects involving mains water infrastructure and private customer-side. Ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant water delivery for domestic and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain water supply systems, including mains connections and private networks
• Diagnose leaks, supply issues, pressure problems, and system failures
• Work with pipework, fittings, valves, pumps, and filtration units
• Carry out site surveys, risk assessments, and prepare accurate job reports
• Deliver a high standard of customer service on-site and over the phone
• Liaise with clients, contractors, landowners, and local authorities as needed
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards
• Participate in emergency call-out rota when required
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Solid understanding of mains water systems and relevant working practices
• Experience working on compipes and customer water supplies.
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, polite, and customer-focused approach
Desirable Qualifications:
• EUSR shea and Water Hygiene card
• CAT & Genny
• Plant or excavation tickets (digger/dumper)
• Leak detection experience
• Basic drainage knowledge or willingness to cross-train
• Cat A and B asbestos
• Deep excavations
