The Role

Are you passionate about developing the next generation of engineers? Do you enjoy using your industry experience to guide, support and inspire learners to achieve their potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Due to continued business growth, we are expanding our Engineering division and are seeking a motivated Learning Coach / Assessor to support apprentices working towards industry-led engineering standards. You will spend time visiting learners in the workplace, with the flexibility to work remotely between visits.

As part of the PETA Engineering Team, you will join a close-knit, supportive group dedicated to helping every learner thrive. Reporting to our experienced Team Lead and backed by our Engineering Training Manager and excellent administrative team, you will play a key role in building successful partnerships between learners, employers and PETA.

If you’re an experienced Assessor looking to grow your career as a Learning and Development Coach, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected training provider with a strong reputation across the South Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confidently explain how Apprenticeships work to employers and learners.
• Develop clear, achievable learning plans that combine on-the-job and off-the-job training.
• Monitor learner progress, take proactive steps when support is needed, and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
• Work to compliance standards set by government and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and quality assurance.

At PETA, we take pride in our engineering heritage, which has shaped our journey as a trusted training provider. While our origins lie in engineering, we’ve evolved to become more than that. Today, we stand as a Partner, Expert and Trusted Advisor across diverse sectors.

Our commitment to excellence remains the same, as we continue to empower current and future generations through our training solutions.
