Are you passionate about working with children and eager to start a rewarding career in childcare? We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team.
Duties to include:
Supervision of children’s play both indoors and outdoors
Supervising meal times and preparing snacks
Carrying out child led and adult led activities
Lots of storytelling and playing!
Preparing activities and resources
Liaising with parents/carers
Working as part of a team to develop areas in the playrooms
Helping staff in care routines
Supervising children on outings in the local community
Taking part in physical play within our extra activities at Take2
Carrying out observations on children and help them achieve their next steps in learning
Log information on our online system for parents/carers
Support staff caring for children with SEND and EAL (where appropriate
Helping staff to maintain a clean and safe environment )
Working week: 35 hours per week - Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm on a rota basis. Days and times to be decided.

Qualification: Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship.

At Willow tree daycare we value each and every child and it is our goal to nurture your child's needs to allow them to grow into an independent and confident child.
