Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistantegal to join their Business Services team. The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager in delivering an efficient and compliant accounts service, ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the firm’s financial systems, including client and office accounts.
- Process receipts, payments, and transfers in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules and internal policies.
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate ledgers and financial records.
- Handle purchase ledger duties, including invoice processing and supplier payments.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting and assist with audits as required.
- Provide general accounts support to colleagues and respond to financial queries.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the finance function and compliance monitoring.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold high professional standards at all times.

About You

- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
