Remuneration: £26,027 (Probation rate)

About the Role

Hanover is excited to be recruiting for a permanent Support Worker based within our Victoria Court development in Hamilton.

About You

You will:

• Have a genuine passion for helping people.
• Be able to demonstrate our values: inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration.
• Be able to display empathy and recognise the rights of independence and choice.
• Be willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC.
• Be able to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern.
• Be able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
• Be required to have a full and satisfactory PVG check prior to starting.

Main Responsibilities

This role involves working 35-hours per week on a rolling rota covering various shifts including sleepovers. The rota is a rolling rota to help support work/life balance and you will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered in a flexible, dignified, safe and stimulating way.

• Develop and adapt the service as required to accommodate the different needs of customers.
• Provide in partnership with your manager the smooth effective delivery of housing.
• management service
• In the absence of your manager, manage the delivery of Catering service that adheres to Environmental Health regulations.
• As a lone worker, you ensure that the building is effectively managed to ensure the safety and security of our residents.
• Partnership working with the Communications Department to help with all aspects of customer services.
• Contribute and support the delivery of the Care Strategy to achieve the strategic objectives of Hanover which are Happy Customers, Desirable Home, and Resilient Organisation
