FM Conway is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dedicated Water and Drainage Management team. In this vital role, you’ll help protect communities and keep essential infrastructure running smoothly. Working as part of a team, you’ll be at the front line of drainage operations, maintaining and cleaning various aspects of Sewage Treatment Plants. Using specialised Superflex combination unit to help ensure that the treatment plants are efficiently cleaned and support a healthier environment. This is a full time, permanent role based in Colchester, Essex.
The duties of the HGV Class 2 Driver role will include:
- Carrying out a wide range of drainage services, including high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ) and using the Superflex Combination Unit to carry out works on various tanks at Sewage treatment plants.
- Responding promptly to drainage issues and emergency callouts, tackling blockages, overflows, and other urgent problems to keep water flowing safely and efficiently.
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance by clearing, cleaning, and repairing of sewage treatment plants as part of routine operations.
What skills and experience do you need?
We’re looking for reliable, committed individuals who hold a Class 2 licence and a valid Driver CPC. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety. Previous experience in the drainage industry is essential, along with a confined space ticket.
