Brightwake Fabrications Ltd are recruiting a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role is essential for producing high-quality metal components and assemblies that meet our stringent standards. Duties
Fabricate and assemble Architectural structures and components according to specifications.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish materials.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute fabrication tasks.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve production efficiency.
Site based work may be required as part of this role.
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding, particularly Mig/Tig welding.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in fabrication processes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
CSCS Card for site (can be provided for the right candidate)
Level 2 or above welding qualifications.
