Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are seeking to appoint an administrative office assistant to join our clients team. This role provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure smooth workflow across both office and production-related activities. Strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support tasks such as stock management.
This role is due to start in the new year and is a temp to perm opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties including data entry, document control, filing, and email correspondence.
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and supporting internal communication.
Use company software to update and maintain accurate information.
Prepare reports, stock lists, production documents, and audit-ready records.
Assist with stock management activities including updating inventory records within controlled systems.
Participate in routine cycle counts and help maintain accurate stock levels for production areas.
Liaise with warehouse and production teams to ensure materials and components are correctly logged and traceable.
Follow all relevant quality procedures and documentation standards.
Support preparation for audits and inspections by maintaining accurate and well-organised records.
Provide flexible support across departments during peak periods or when operational support is required.
Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, data entry, record management).
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible and proactive approach to supporting both office and operational functions.
Start Date: After Christmas
Location: Bridgend
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £28,000 - £30,000
