We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Sports Safety & Welfare Officer to help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students involved in our sports programmes, whether they’re trying something new, playing for fun, or competing at the highest level.





What You’ll Do:


Act as a trusted point of contact for welfare concerns in student sport.
Promote safe practice across training and competition.
Provide pastoral support to sports scholars.
Deliver training and workshops.
Coordinate campaigns and initiatives that celebrate diversity and wellbeing in sport.




About You:


Experience in welfare, safeguarding, or student support roles.
Understanding of sports safety principles and duty of care.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and communicate sensitively.
Knowledge of mental health and wellbeing issues in student sport.
Ability to disseminate information and delegate
Familiarity with safeguarding frameworks and reporting protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively and deliver engaging training sessions.
