We are looking for experienced TIG Welders to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly skilled manufacturing environment, focusing on precision aluminium welding to accredited regulatory codes.
Skills:
Skilled in Stick/MMA welding
Competent in 4G/6G welding positions
Knowledge of MIG welding is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and WPS documents
Experience
Confident in TIG welding with substantial manufacturing/fabrication experience
Previous experience with pressure vessels highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminium in line with Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Carry out Stick/MMA welding where required
Weld in 4G/6G positions according to coded procedures
Support non-welding tasks such as forming, grinding, and operating overhead cranes
Contribute to the fabrication of pressure vessels and complex assemblies
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality
Qualifications
Qualifications in Dye Penetrant, CSWIP, or PCN2 are a plus
