Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming, forward-thinking two-form entry primary school in Outer London to appoint an experienced and passionate KS1 Class Teacher, who is ready to step into a wider Phase and English Subject Lead role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the effective delivery of the curriculum, teaching and assessment across the KS1 phase
- Support with the strategic development of English across the school
- Use assessment data and pupil progress reviews to close attainment gaps
- Coach and mentor teaching staff across the phase, fostering confidence and strong outcomes
- Contribute to whole-school priorities and play an active role in SLT initiatives
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching within your own classroom
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS1
- Previous involvement in leading a subject or supporting staff development
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, with particular strengths in literacy
- Passion for inclusive practice and raising attainment for all learners
- A warm, collaborative and forward-thinking approach to leadership
- Interest or experience in integrating technology into learning
