Responsibilities
Manage the full payroll process for employees from data entry to payroll distribution.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Audit payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain employee payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and relevant departments.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide necessary support.
Coordinate with HR for changes in employment status, benefits, and deductions affecting payroll.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role in payroll management.
Strong understanding of payroll software and systems, with experience in [specific software] preferred.
Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex payroll information clearly and effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
