The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Kitchen Assistant at Holden Clough Primary School, St Alban’s Avenue, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 8XNTo start: Monday 5th January 2026
Mobile Kitchen Assistant Full-time Salary £24,413
This is a permanent, part-time role, 10 hours per week, Term Time Only with an actual salary of £5,803 (TMBC Grade A, Points 2)

Holden Clough Primary School is situated in Ashton-Under-Lyne with a diverse pupil population. Set over two floors within spacious grounds including a wooded area for our forest school provision, Holden Clough is a forward thinking, vibrant school with a strong community ethos.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team. In this vital role, you will be involved in the preparation and serving of school meals to our diverse pupil population.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing support in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals
• Preparation of service areas and equipment for the efficient and effective serving of meals
• Cleaning of the kitchen area, equipment and dining area.
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who:
• Can work effectively as part of a team in a busy, fast paced environment
• Has a friendly, polite manner and can communicate well with colleagues and pupils
• Has an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their duties

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:
• Applications close at 5:00pm on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.
• Interviews will take place on Tuesday 9th December 2025
• Visits to our school are warmly welcomed
