The Governors of Aberdare Community School are seeking to appoint a number of examination invigilators to support the smooth running of examinations at the school.
We are looking to appoint suitably enthusiastic and / or experienced individuals to join the team of invigilators to cover several examination periods throughout the school year, but especially during the periods of January – July when the main public exams are being taken.
The school opened in the summer of 2015 and is part of the 21st Century school building programme. Our facilities include a modern teaching environment with state of the art computer and technology facilities, including a Lecture Theatre. The school is attached to the Sobell Leisure Centre which offers extensive opportunities for pupils, including an all-weather playing facility and newly opened athletics stadium.
Our Mission statement is “Work Hard, Dream Big, Reach for the Stars”
The post would be suited to applicants who are able to work flexible daytime hours (from just 2 hours per day to a full school day depending on the examination timetable). Full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period.
Interviews will be held at the school – date to be confirmed with shortlisted candidates.
